Our annual fundraiser, Taste of Scandinavia, is right around the corner. We need everyone to help us so we can continue to fund scholarships and camp tuition, have excellent speakers, and enjoy “food, fun, and fellowship.”
We will need excellent items for our Silent Auction. This is the portion of “Taste” that consistently raises the most funds. Please start thinking, looking, and tucking away items for this.
Two years ago we initiated the “Taste” part of our new fall adventure by having many items, but only small portions. We, again, will be asking for specific food donations. Other venues have had similar events, but ours has had more items and larger samples.
The Bake Sale is also a great favorite! It seems many people have given up baking and canning, but they REALLY enjoy home-made goodies. Now is the time to begin to think about what you can prepare for Saturday, November 1, 2025
Bestefor’s Closet is always such fun. One never knows what can be found that you can’t live without. We can always find some hidden treasures to donate to this area.
In addition to donating food items for the “Taste” and bake sale, we also need you to volunteer to help set up, serve, and/or help with clean-up. We will be starting the wonderful event at 1PM on Saturday, November 1.
