The 2025 Crossings Jubilee commemorates the bicentennial of the first organized emigration from Norway to America. In 1825, the Restauration sailed from Stavanger to New York with 52 Norwegian emigrants on board.
In celebration of this event, our lodge’s “New Land New Life” exhibit is currently on display at the Washington County Historic Courthouse in Stillwater until April 3.
Join us on Monday, March 24, when we will meet at 11am for brunch at Joseph’s Family Restaurant (Stillwater, MN).
At 1:30 pm we will gather to view the exhibit and tour the Washington County Historic Courthouse (101 Pine Street West, Stillwater, MN), about a mile north of Joseph’s, at the intersection of 4th Street South and Pine Street West.
Located high on the hill overlooking downtown Stillwater, the Washington County Historic Courthouse is the longest standing courthouse in the state of Minnesota, serving as the county seat for over 100 years.
