Sons of Norway District Convention

JOIN US AT THE SONS OF NORWAY DISTRICT CONVENTION

In addition to the necessary business of District I, this is a cultural event. All are invited to take advantage of the classes, hands-on activities, displays, and vendors. You will also be able to visit with friends, old and new! The Sons of Norway has a long history of promoting our cultural heritage.

Following is information that may answer some of your questions:

• Is there a deadline for the tour registration?  There is none as long as space is available.  People who wish to go on the tour will have their lunch included as long as they are registered for that day. 
• Is there a deadline for non-delegates to register? Registrations from non-delegates will continue to be accepted with no deadline. Very late or same day registrants may have additional food charges and may not have all of the same meals or materials provided.  With the busy summer, it is understood that people have to fit this in around activities which is the reason for one- or two-day registrations. Banquet registrations are separate from the daily rates, and one may attend banquets only.
• For attendees who are selecting their program sessions, please let us know if you are willing to be a host for that session and introduce the speaker. Please contact knaak002@gmail if you can host a session.
• For the food sessions, we will accept four preregistrations per session. Contact knaak002@gmail.com if you would like to preregister, assist, or offer some unusual Norwegian equipment.  The food sessions will have some space limitations, and one can sign up for slots at the registration table. These sessions are open to everyone whether experienced or inexperienced, male or female.
• The rosemaling group is limited. If you wish to preregister, please contact Knaak002@mail.com.
• There has been good response to the Bunad Parade. Some of you have promised and others are still out there. Questions? Knaak002@gmail.com.
