Synnøve-Nordkap, the St. Paul lodge of the Sons of Norway will be hosting a new event on Saturday, October 21st. We are excited to share this fundraising opportunity with you. Our families, our daily lives, and even some of the organizations/events that we have known for so many years look different than they did before 2020. When the International Institute of Minnesota recently announced that the Festival of Nations would not be returning, Synnøve-Nordkap lost its largest fundraising event. In order to move forward with the same engaging monthly meeting programs, the junior lodge/Peer Gynt Dancers, and our scholarship opportunities (language camp, postsecondary, and adult cultural), we decided that now was the time to try something different. Change isn’t easy, but we are hoping that when we get together to enjoy small bites of Scandinavian fare, shop for Norwegian goods, and baked items, we will have so much fun that we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
